About The Work
The Cuba 10 in 10 Project will consist of photographs from 10 visits to Cuba over the course of 10 years with a different focus and artistic style each trip.
The goal is to create between 300 and 400 fine art photographs that will create a permanent record or perception of what Cuba was like in this decade.
The first group of photos was taken in 2016, a few months after President Obama began to normalize relations with Cuba. This trip was also about two weeks before Fidel Castro’s death.
2016 will be viewed as the beginning of great change, both for Cuba and its relationship with the United States. The purpose of this project is to document this period of history on this beautiful island.
As of November, 2018, we have completed 3 trips in the series.
The next trip is planned for December, 2019.
